column

The source column.

tag

The object to write.

elementName

An instance of the .NET XName class that specifies the name of the new element.

parentElement

An instance of the .NET XElement class that specifies the parent element.

An instance of the .NET XElement class representing the newly created element.

 Remarks

Tags are written similarly to arbitrary objects except that the client is given a chance to perform custom serialization through event handling.
