 Public Fields

  Name Description

Abstract

The "abstract" tag. Define a secondary description.

Author

The "author" tag. Records the name of the author of the document.

Classification

The "classification" tag. Classify the site into the appropriate category.

Copyright

The "copyright" tag. Used to include copyright information in the document.

Description

The "description" tag. Some search engines pick up this description to show with the results of searches.

Distribution

The "distribution" tag. Declares whether a document is available to the web or on an intranet. Possible content values are "Global", "Local", "IU".

DocClass

The "doc-class" tag. Indicates completion status of document. Possible values are "Completed", "Draft", "Living Document", "Published".

DocRights

The "doc-rights" tag. Indicates copyright status of document. Possible values are "Copywritten Work", "Private", "Public", "Public Domain".

DocType

The "doc-type" tag. Specifies type of document. Possible content values are "Confidential Company Papers", "eZine", "Government", "Journal", "Manuscript", "Paper", "Private", "Public", "Web Page", "White Paper".

Expires

The "expires" tag. Expiration date of the document.

Generator

The "generator" tag. The name of the program that created the document.

Googlebot

The "googlebot" tag. Define pages to be excluded from googlebot indexing. Possible content values are "all", "index, follow", "noindex, follow", "index, nofollow", "noindex, nofollow", "none", "nosnippet", "noarchive".

Keywords

The "keywords" tag. Inform search engines what your web site or page is about.

MSSmartTagsPreventParsing

The "MSSmartTagsPreventParsing" tag. Use this tag to prevent any Microsoft product from automatically generating smart tags. Possible content value is "TRUE".

Owner

The "owner" tag. Define the owner of the page or site.

ProgId

The "progid" tag.

Rating

The "rating" tag. A simple rating for a site.

Refresh

The "refresh" tag. Indicates the document displays for a specified amount of time before switching to a new URL. The content value should be in the format "n;url", where "n" is the number of seconds to wait before loading the URL specified by "url".

ReplyTo

The "reply-to" tag. Email address of contact for document.

ResourceType

The "resource-type" tag. Indicates the type of web resource. Possible content value is "document".

RevisitAfter

The "revisit-after" tag. Defines how often search engine spiders should revisit your site.

Robots

The "robots" tag. Defines pages to be excluded from robot indexing. Possible values are "all", "index, follow", "noindex, follow", "index, nofollow", "noindex, nofollow", "none", "noimageindex".
